June-July 1978 US tour and features Rosie the Riveter- like woman with Rolling Stones logo on front of coveralls pointing and American vehicles following her direction. Art by Stanislaw Zargorski. 424 / 5000.. N. Mint. Would look great framed. The Rolling Stones' 1978 "Some Girls" release was the band's most successful studio album, selling over six-million copies domestically. That June and July, Mick Jagger and the boys went out on tour, using this original tour poster and its interesting back story.

Supposedly, the model was the Premier of China's daughter. Premier Zhou had demanded final approval of the poster before the Stones could sell it. When he saw the way his daughter was depicted, he refused to give permission. It was too late to put together different theme art, so there was no "official" tour poster that year. Framed and in AWESOME condition, the poster measures approx 18" x 24". Frame is 20-3/8"W x 26-3/8". Some Girls" featured the #1 hit single "Miss You" as well as popular tracks "Beast of Burden" and "Shattered" among others. Design by Zagorski for Raindrop Productions (Rolling Stones merchandising), image featured in The Art of Rock on page 417. This particular print is 424/5000. The frame may not be perfect and as mentioned above it is plastic & not glass, but underlying material looks great. Here is additional information: This numbered print is derived from the artwork used on the 1977 US tour! After the prints were created the plate in which was used to create this was destroyed. There will be no more made.

Poster measures about 17 1/2 by 23 1/2. Comes with Certificate of authenticity which is on the back. Near mint to very good condition. Graphics on this piece are super cool. Refer to photos. This is really cool and would fit into any decor and any stones lover must have! It's The Rolling Stones need I say more!! The Authorized limited edition lithographs.
